Loving Kindness Meditation
Wednesday, March 13th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. via Teams
Loving-kindness meditation (sometimes called “metta” meditation) is a great way to cultivate one's capacity for responding to others from a place of calm. It involves mentally sending goodwill and warmth towards a series of people that you get to choose. Join us for a meditation to help ground yourself so that you might be more present in your interactions for the rest of the day.
Berg Miller, PhD, LMSW, (she/they) is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Social Work. When she is not hustling for work or getting accidentally whapped by her 4-year-old, Berg uses short, guided meditations to ground herself and maintain wellness.
