Long believed to be held only bigots, this interactive session will explore the stereotypes and biases in each of us. Sometimes we know that we have them. However, many times we don’t. So if they are truly unconscious, can we really be held accountable? More importantly if we don’t know what we don’t know, can we really change?
We will explore how to recognize the hidden biases in all of us and why “simply changing” isn’t always easy. We will see how, even without knowledge of our own biases, they may sabotage us, our team and our workplace. Finally explore some ways to become mindful of our own blind spots. Because real, sustained change starts with awareness.
