If you are a manager at Buffalo State College who is seeking an opportunity to problem-solve, discuss, and be supported in addressing management challenges and learning new management strategies, please contact Rebecca Eggleston, Professional Development Assistant to register for a manager community of practice. The Manager Development Communities of Practice are small groups of managers who engage in problem-solving-focused conversations every three weeks, facilitated by Jonathan Hulbert, director of leadership and organizational development, on how we can further improve management effectiveness. All conversations will be tailored to each manager community of practice’s most pressing challenges and supported by additional free webinars, articles, and resources that can be accessed at any time. Managers will be placed in small groups based on shared challenges and positions to ensure they can connect with colleagues who are at the same level within the institution.
The Director level community of practice meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the below dates:
The community of practice for Assistant/Associate Directors or employees who manage at least one staff member, including student employees meets from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the below dates:
